The saying "You come into the world alone and go out of it alone" really bugs me. You are not born alone. Your Mum is there.
Why do Americans say "I could care less" when they mean "I couldn't care less". Is it an example of American sarcasm?
When people say "I hope you don't mind me saying.." I end up minding very much?

You are dealing with expressions and slang and such so all proper english rules are out. Funny because I don't know of anyone who actually says that, most just say, like me, Don't care. ;-)
