Tuesday

Slept really well last night . Hurray!
I've been feeling "on edge" today. Generally worrying about things that might never happen. I hate it when I get like this!

Sleep and stuff

I didn't sleep very well last night. Steve couldn't sleep and I could hear him pressing the keys on his phone. I didn't say anything, but lay there with my eyes shut seething.
Whilst drying my hair this morning my hair brush fell apart. As I have no idea how long I've had it, suspect it must be very old indeed.
Tom peed up against the radiator this evening. There was no need as he had just been let out. and if he wanted to go out he should have barked, like he normally does.
Apart from that it has been a good day.

Bar Code Question.

Has any one out there got a device that can scan bar codes on their mobile phone? I'm told it is all the rage in Japan and was wondering if it was catching on over here....

I over heard a girl saying " I'm 24 I'm old enough to do what I want" Darling- you are never old enough for that.

I must budget to allow myself massages more often. It was just a shame that I had to go out in to the bitter cold afterwards. I'm one of those people who would rather be too cold than too hot but its nearly May for goodness sakes.

Talking to David

I was talking to David. Well, rather I was doing the listening.
"I want everyone to know how important I am. I'm special. Really special. I want people to talk about me when I'm not there. I want them to say how special I am. People need to think about me I am very important. People realise how important I am. When they know how special I am I get a warm feeling"
David has learning difficulties, but I thought as he was talking, everyone thinks that about themselves. We're just not as open about it.

Bits and Pieces and Bullet Points

1. Took Tom out for an early morning walk. Walked by the posh apartments over looking the sea. the inhabitants were on their balconies in their PJs shouting across to each other. Urgh! Took about lower the tone of your million pound pad.
2. Coming back was charming, polite but FIRM to the Jehovah's Witnesses.
3. Went round Mum and Dad's last night. Conversation was interesting as the older we all get the more forgetful we are of people's names or words for things. At times it was a bit like Give us a Clue.
4. Got my hair cut yesterday. the girl washing my hair was very rough and gave me a headache. Needless to say I didn't mention it to her, but it has put me off going there again.
5.Have an over whelming urge to rearrange the furniture in the living room. Am developing irrational hatred of the dining table. Steve thinks I'm mad. I think it is a woman thing. Steve reckons the living room has the perfect lay out. I want to go out and buy all new furniture. Check calender for when period is due. Although now I'm in my forties - is it a menopause thing?
6. Steve has got Football Manager on his mobile. He is so happy.
7.When walking Tom it was so hot I actually took my coat off. Since then we have had hail stones.
8. Read this . John how could you? I don't care he is still my favourite Doctor.

Thursday

Am exhausted as I didn't get my 40 winks in the train home tonight. I don't mind though because I came home on the train with Mum, Angela and the Little Dudes. They had spent the day at the London Aquarium. On the way back they managed to miss the Tower boat stop and ended up at Canary Wharf...that sort of stuff only seems to happen to Angela.

Wednesday

I bloomin' hate cutting up butter nut squash. Fecking thing.

Tuesday

My eyes sting and my nose is running ....could it be that Spring (and my hay fever) is finally coming?
Was so fast asleep on the train home tonight the ticket inspector had trouble waking me up.

Snowy Sunday.

Yep its snowy again. I took tom for a walk and the cold snow falling on my head made my head ache. I rang Angela, who is in Cardiff. She said it was sunny there! She had taken the little dudes to see the Doctor Who exhibition. They loved it.
Steve and his dad, Pete are downstairs watching the Grand Prix. Its Pete's birthday soon and Steve given him his present. I told Steve to use one if the gift bags (well don't you recycle them as well?). All the gift bags are under my desk. All loaded into the biggest bag, tidy like. After Mr Robbo had been through them there are all over the place, untidy like. I will make his life a misery for that.

This is true

This morning as I walked to catch my train, a pair of knickers fell out of my trouser leg.
I'm pleased to say that I recognised them (otherwise Mr R would have had a lot of explaining to do) and they were clean.

Commuting

On the way home I had the misfortune to sit beside a selfish commuter. You know - one seat isn't enough for them , they encroach on to your space. I had a chuckle though when he had a "sleep spasm" thingy. Ha! ha! I laugh at you Selfish Commuter.
BTw I have noticed that selfish commuters always get off at the same station..

Another photo

Just thought I'd better not leave out Angela...this was taken at Easter weekend at Center parcs.

Mum and me

After doing that quiz I thought I'd dig out a photo. This was taken a few years ago on a day trip to France.

Like mother, like daughter..

You Are Totally Like Your Mum

You and your mum are practically clones.

You think alike, and you even seem to read each other's minds.

You're definitely you're mother's child... and that's just fine with you.
