Monetize

Has any one else noticed the Monetize tab on blogger? I clicked on it as I have no idea what "monetize" means, and it is all about setting up Ads on your blog. But really what sort of word is that?

    The definition as I understand it is this. Being able to make money from some serve you are currently giving away.

    I.e. Twitter is constantly looking to monetize their network.
